WP Suspension on Gasgas E-Bike Proto
Gasgas showed us this E-Enduro proto at Sea Otter 2023. It features suspension that appears to be made by WP. We were not given any other details, other than that the bike will be raced in the E-EDR World Cup by both Gasgas teams (Gasgas Motorex and Gasgas SRAM), with the WP suspension on the Motorex bike and RockShocks on the SRAM team bike. There is also a motor of unknown manufacture on the proto. Stay tuned!

The WP suspension is made in partnership with DVO, IDK what that means for how different the internals are though.

Yeah this is literally a DVO Jade X with the new compression unit and an Onyx, bith just have slightly different red ano dials

Here's my issue... WP suspension used to be named White Power. For all of the obvious reasons. Instead of changing their name completely, they just became WP. Go ahead and call me woke, as if that's a bad thing, but I will not be buying their products.

That's a great story, but I used to work with vintage motorcycles and have seen first hand sets of Moto forks with great big White Power stickers on them. My racist boss was a bit sad when they changed the name.

Yea white power is definitely the original name.  WHY it was named white power is not as clear.  Just because your boss liked the name because he’s racist doesn’t mean they chose this name because they were racist.
